What you can expect in this role
The CRA is the first European regulation to establish a minimum level of cybersecurity for all connected products available on the European market-something that has not existed before. A conformity assessment is required before affected products can be placed on the market. As an accredited testing laboratory and Notified Body, we support manufacturers with these tasks. Together, we will lay the foundations for certifying the products of tomorrow in accordance with the new CRA requirements.
Directives and standards provide the basis for product conformity assessments. We are passionate about exploring the products of tomorrow in the fields of cybersecurity and product compliance. You enjoy familiarising yourself with new technical requirements and assessing how they are implemented in products.
You will help establish and shape the required operational structure, develop the necessary technical expertise and design the relevant processes, among other responsibilities.
For you, project management and personal accountability mean independently prioritising tasks and taking responsibility for them from start to successful completion.
What you bring to the role
A completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity
Ideally, knowledge and experience in product conformity assessment
Knowledge of EN ISO/IEC 17065, EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN ISO/IEC 17021 or the EUCC would be an advantage
Audit experience in accordance with ISO 27001 or ISO 9001 would be an additional asset
A structured and methodical approach
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to persuade others
Excellent communication skills in German and English
