In an increasingly digital world, where cyber threats are constantly growing, IT security and cyber resilience play a decisive role in our customers' business success. The European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces new technical requirements for products. This creates an exciting and opportunity-rich environment for our new business area: conformity assessment of product cybersecurity.
To continuously develop the capabilities of our accredited cybersecurity laboratory, we are looking for a new team member.
What you can expect in this role
As an accredited testing laboratory and Notified Body, we support manufacturers in demonstrating the conformity of their products.
Requirements and standards provide the basis for product conformity assessments. We are passionate about exploring the products of tomorrow in the fields of cybersecurity and product compliance. You enjoy familiarising yourself with new technical requirements and testing whether products meet them.
You will continuously develop testing methods and expand our equipment so that we can offer new services in product security and cybersecurity compliance.
For you, project management and personal accountability mean independently prioritising tasks and taking responsibility for them from start to successful completion.
What you bring to the role
A completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field
Relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, such as penetration testing, and knowledge of relevant tools
Knowledge of CRA requirements and relevant standards, RED Article 3.3(d), (e) and (f), or the EUCC would be an advantage
A strong customer focus and a structured, responsible and thorough approach to work
Initiative and enthusiasm for helping shape a new business area
Excellent communication skills in German and English
