Phoenix Testlab becomes NMi Testlab

Blomberg, June 1, 2026 – Phoenix Testlab is changing its name to NMi Testlab Phoenix Testlab. This change reflects the ongoing integration of Testlab into the NMi Group.

For customers, the day-to-day stays the same. The same teams, technical expertise, projects, and customer contacts will remain. Operations will continue in Blomberg, Germany, and all current certificates and approvals remain valid.

What the name change reflects is a shift in what sits behind it.

Since joining NMi Group in September 2025, Phoenix Testlab has been building its connection to an international network spanning testing, inspection, certification, and calibration. NMi Testlab is the natural next step — bringing the company's established capabilities in EMC, radio, wireless, and conformity assessment into closer alignment with the broader group.

In practical terms, that means more access. A larger pool of specialists, deeper knowledge across regulatory frameworks and markets, and more ways to support customers when projects cross borders or involve multiple disciplines. The relationships and services customers have today do not change — but the organisation they sit within is stronger and better resourced.
